Think Like an Engineer

Privacy policy Effective October 1, 2026

Think Like an Engineer works offline. It does not require an account and has no advertising, tracking, third-party analytics, or live AI service.

Your choices, progress, review history, unfinished activities, and reflections are stored in this app on your iPhone. We do not receive those records. The app retains a previous save and may preserve unreadable files to help recover your work. It also retains the original prototype data after migration until you erase local data.

Device backups
App data is eligible for ordinary iPhone backups. Whether backups happen, where they are stored, and how they are protected depend on your Apple settings. There is no automatic cross-device synchronization. Removing the app can remove its local data; export important notes first.

Sharing and recovery
Exporting notes or recovery files is your choice. Recovery files can contain private reflections and activity history. The destination you select controls any copy you share. Erasing data in this app does not delete previous exports or Apple backups.

Notifications
Only if you enable them, the app schedules local reminders on your iPhone. No server sends push notifications. You can disable reminders in the app or in iPhone Settings.

Diagnostics and feedback
Apple may provide aggregated store metrics and crash diagnostics according to your Apple sharing settings. TestFlight feedback is handled by Apple. If you send support feedback, include only information you are comfortable sharing; do not include private notes unless necessary.

Your controls
You can edit or delete individual notes, export notes, and erase all local notes, drafts, progress, preferences, and recovery files through Settings. Erasing app data also cancels app reminders. Existing device backups and exported copies are controlled separately.

Children and learning claims
This general educational app is designed for curious adults. Activity completion is not an assessment of professional competence.
